I think your theory trumps mine. I have been wondering (mostly to myself) if this isn't some master plan by Theo for our top youth on the team to act as insane as possible, so as to deter any Steindevil intesrest. Because would the likes of Papelbon & Pedroia really mesh well with the Pinstriped Storm Troopers... errr clones... errr "Classy Professional Ball Players"?
I would say he'll never live this down, but since nothing actually embarrasses Pap... hehe
